If you want Gerry to sign the Map Pack, please be specific with your request. If you want a signature, Gerry will break the shrink-wrap and sign the Map Pack’s title page. We cannot reapply shrink-wrap, so if you want the Map Pack shrink wrapped, please indicate that preference, and in this case, Gerry will not sign it.

Fulcrum Publishing in Golden CO published Gerry’s Fourteeners Companion Map Package in 1999. The Map Pack contains 31 full color, annotated maps for all of Colorado’s Fourteeners. These are the same maps that are in the book, but the map pack’s maps are larger than they are in the book. The map pack’s maps are 8 x 12 inches, and the book’s maps are 6 x 9 inches. The Map Pack contains 36 individual sheets, each folded once. The sheets are on good paper and are 3-hole punched, but you must supply your own binder. Here is a sample map from Gerry’s Map Pack.

The back side of each map contains a black & white photograph of each Fourteener on that map as well as the route descriptions for the standard routes on each of that map’s Fourteeners. In some cases where there are many Fourteeners on one map, the route descriptions are abbreviated from the book’s descriptions. There are also headlines for the alternate routes. For descriptions of the alternate routes, you will need the book. In addition to the 31 maps, the Map Pack contains driving directions to all the relevant trailheads, a peak checklist and a climbing log. The 36 sheets are held in a sturdy, folded card stock cover, which is shrink-wrapped. The Map Pack’s packaged size is 6.5 x 8 inches. To buy the USGS quadrangles for all of Colorado’s Fourteeners would cost at least $420, and probably over $500 at most retail stores. At $14.95, Gerry’s Map Pack is an incredible bargain!

Fulcrum Publishing in Golden CO first published Gerry’s Fourteener book in 1992. The first edition contains 254 pages, 197 routes on Colorado’s 55 Fourteeners, 50 black & white photographs and 31 black-and-white topographic hand-annotated maps. The soft-cover book is 6 x 9 inches. The appendix of the first edition includes a discussion of Peak Power. This dissertation and peak lists based on Gerry’s Peak Power system were removed from the book’s second edition and replaced with a simpler system, so if you are interested in this material, then the first edition may be for you. Most book sellers are out of stock with the first edition, so if you really want the first edition, your best bet is to get it from us.
