“The Pulverizer” – 10,380 feet

An ambitious name clings to this humble, ranked summit 1.2 miles south of Wilkerson Pass.

– 2.0 miles RT, 960 feet net and total, Class 2

This short hike on “The Pulverizer” is a hike for all seasons.
Start at the Pulver Trailhead at 9,420 feet, march west-southwest and angle 0.7 mile across the wooded slope, crossing a gully en route, to reach a second gully. Cross the second gully and hike 0.3 mile northwest up open slopes to the summit.
