Radial Mountain from the west The West Ridge hiking route from Willow Creek Pass goes up the tree-covered ridge right of center |

This is a route for all seasons. Start at the Willow Creek Pass Trailhead on Colorado 125 at 9,600 feet. From the trail sign on the east side of the highway, get onto the Willow Creek Pass Trail, which is also the Continental Divide Trail, and follow it 0.4 mile east to the crest of the Continental Divide. Turn east and continue another 0.7 mile east-northeast on or near the crest of the ridge as the trail skirts some of the peak’s namesake radial dikes to reach a signed trail junction at 9,986 feet where the trail leaves the divide. Leave the trail here, and hike 1.4 miles east-northeast through open trees up the gentle ridge to reach the summit of Radial Mountain. The actual summit of Radial is tree-covered, but there is an open shoulder just west of the summit that allows expansive views.
